[Game] Blood & Glory brings Gladiator battles to your Pocket
I know this might sound a bit silly, but two of my favorite movies are 300 and Gladiator. I loved the action and the old school hand to hand combat that made a man a true bad a$$. None of this clear across the country piloting of remote controlled UAVs and modern warfare tactics. If you like that same fighting style and going up against guys twice your size and defeating them with nothing but a sword then you have to check out GluMobiles latest game.
It is called Blood & Glory. The game has an Infinity Blade style game play. You are a Gladiator fighting in the arena against others trying to stay alive and put on a good show for the crowd. You can equip yourself with various types of armor and weapons to help make you the ultimate Gladiator. Combined with easy controls, special attacks and an award system, this game is sure to keep you entertained for hours.
The downside? Well, none that we haven’t seen in many other games. The game is free and comes in two versions. The standard battle version and a not rated version with all the blood and gore you would expect to find in arena battles. They are both ‘Freemium’ style games. Meaning that to get the most out of the game you will want to pony up some hard earned cash for in game purchases. Hey, they have to make some money some how. It seems to be proven that companies that are taking this approach are making more money then if they just sold the game for a few bucks a pop.
Take a look at the quick demo video below and then proceed to the bottom for the appropriate links to get your hands on this one.

HTC releases source code for Desire Z, Flyer, Incredible S
HTC over the weekend released the source code for a trio of devices. The Desire Z and Incredible S saw the release of their Gingerbread maintenance updates, while the HTC Flyer 7-inch tablet say its kernel source code hit the open web.
For the vast majority us, this doesn’t mean much. But for the developers out there, source code is like blood. Or Mountain Dew. Or something like that.

Get the New Motorola DROID 3 from Amazon for $70, $130 if Upgrading, BOGO from Verizon [Deals]

$200 too rich for your blood to buy the newly-launched Motorola DROI D3? If you were waiting on a good deal to get this thing, Amazon may have the price you’re more comfortable with. They have the Motorola DROID 3 for $70 after signing a new two-year agreement if you’re a new customer to Verizon. If upgrading, you can get the phone for $130 on a single line or $150 on a family plan – all still great deals. See Amazon if you want to get in on it.
[Update]: Our friends at PhoneArena have turned our attention to another decent deal, too – buy one, get one free at Verizon. That might be a better deal to consider if you’re buying for two.
Unofficial Android 2.3.4 For HTC Thunderbolt
Well, if you are a developer, you might be interested in reading different developer’s sites for updates that touches things like ROMs and roots. 9MM Headed to Android, Think Grand Theft Auto Gone Mobile
Gameloft just tossed out this teaser for their new game 9MM which is probably not 100% safe for work, but still worth every second of your time if third person shooters that involve gangs, strippers, guns and blood are your thing. Yep, you get them all wrapped up into one 43 second video. [...]

Android Quick App: Micronytes
As long as I’m on a kick with games that make me think of movies, I’ve got to mention Micronytes. This is an absolutely incredible platformer that just reeks of Fantastic Voyage.
Instead of a blood clot in the brain, there are these (assumedly evil) green, anthropomorphized green blobs munching on all the tasty red stuff inside of an unnamed victim. How to defeat them? Send in some rotund, faceless gents in all white suits to eradicate the problem.
Join me after the break to see just how detailed this adventure becomes.
HTC Gives Us Six Minutes with their Flyer Tablet [Video]

No, it isn’t quite seven minutes in heaven, but it is six minutes with the HTC Flyer. This is the sort of device you need to work yourself up to get excited about, because the tablet itself isn’t doing much to stir the blood. Still, HTC does its best to give us the bells-and-whistles overview of their upcoming Android slate. They call it a “tablet like no other.” We like the sound of its rumored successors a bit more.

Google Body: Double Back
This world is changing so fast that we are not even able to follow all the movements. If you remember, together with Motorola Xoom’s presentation a great application was spotted on it. Its name is Google Body. With this app you can get to know almost everything about your body including blood channels, bones, organs [...]
Creative Explanatory Dictionary
It is in Americans’ blood to make things and words sound and look short. Also, with all the technological progress we prefer to write “U” instead of “you” and 2 instead of “to”, “too” or “two”. I do not blame anyone for that because the information all over the world thanks to the web is [...]
