Just a few days ago we were talking about how Samsung could already be preparing the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, with an unbreakable-plane display. However, many T-Mobile users are still craving to have the regular Galaxy Note on T-Mobile, and it seems as it will be coming soon. According to several leaked press images by CellPhoneSignal, the T-Mobile Galaxy Note is on its way to the network, carrying support for HSPA+ Bands 850/1900.
The current rumored launch date for the device is July 11, however, that can easily change. The device will ship with Android 4.0 ICS out-of-the-box, meaning that you’ll be on the latest Android software-that is, until Google releases Jelly Bean.
You may remember a few weeks ago when Samsung unveiled their “Galaxy Chart” showing off the different categories of Galaxy devices and what to expect from each one. Well, one line of those devices was the Galaxy W and if you can see from the picture, it seems to line up perfectly with the Samsung T679 that passed through the FCC today on its way to T-Mobile. Fitting for its Galaxy W tier, the T679 will feature a 800×480 display, 1.4GHz processor, 4GB of internal memory and running Android 2.3 Gingerbread. It will be a mid-level device and will most likely carry an affordable price tag.
While T-Mobile’s already opened the floodgates for preordering the MyTouch 4G Slide from them, you can get it a bit cheaper if you don’t mind going through third party channels. Walmart is offering the device for preorder, as well, and they’re willing to let it go for $100 after a two-year contract, no rebates required. Put your order for one in now and look forward to it on July 27th. [via Cellphonesignal]
Is this just the same device we heard about headed to Europe or will Canadian, T-Mobile and AT&T folks be able to get in on some 3D love before too long? A device modeled PG86300, which just happens to be the same model number as the HTC EVO 3D, has passed the FCC. It has GSM bands, but before you North American customers get excited, remember that HTC has just announced a European version of the device set to launch in July. Nevertheless, it looks like those of you on GSM carriers here in the states and up in Canada will soon be able to at least import the device and use it on your networks of choice. Last week we got one of our first real clear looks at the upcoming myTouch 4G Slide for T-Mobile. To no one’s surprise, no striking differences between the original myTouch 4G and its Slide cousin were deduced other than a full QWERTY keyboard tucked away under the 3.7-inch display. In case you needed to clarify that or just want to feast your eyes on the phone that new rumors state could be released on July 6th, promotional renders of the device have leaked. Nothing fancy, just another solid entry into the myTouch lineup.
