Google shows off a new way of taking a family portrait with Photo Sphere on the Nexus 4 [Video]
To help promote their already sold out Nexus 4, Google shows off Photo Sphere in this short video. Photo Sphere is definitely an intuitive way to take new pictures, if only we can access those pictures anywhere else and not just Google+! Either way, check out the video!

T-Mobile Galaxy Note 2 multi-window update now live

Here's your reminder that the promised software update for T-Mobile's Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is now available. The 73-megabyte update brings the following improvements:
- New multi-window feature
- Resolves Exchange calendar events not appearing on device Calendar
- Resolves issues with being unable to swipe through Gmail messages
If you've yet to see the multi-window thing, check out our full video of it from a couple months ago. It's definitely worth tapping a couple buttons and updating your phone — which … erm, is pretty easy to do anyway.

Sprint shuts down ‘Upgrade Now’ program … for now

Sprint today confirmed to Android Central that its Upgrade Now program, which would let you pay a little extra to get upgrade pricing a little early, is "currently now unavailable." The internal memo adds "until further notice," which seems a bit ominous until you read the line that notes it's "temporarily discontinued." Sprint's e-mail to us also says to "check back later to see if the program has been reinstated," giving us another reason to believe this is just temporary.

With the HTC One X+ having already been released across various regions, it's now time for launch in Canada. TELUS has now made available the re-vamped version of HTC's earlier premium handset, the One X. With a faster quad-core Tegra 3 CPU, 64GB of storage, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of the box and LTE, you can pick this one up for $130 with a new three-year contract or $650 outright.
