T-Mobile Vivacity for Europe Hits Bluetooth SIG

This image has no alt text

We still don’t know a whole lot about the little fella you see above. It’s being dubbed the T-Mobile Vivacity and is said to be headed to the European sect of Deutsche Telekom’s popular mobile provider brand.

It’s a Gingerbread device made by ZTE and looks to be headed straight for the low-mid range market. And the fact that it was spotted at the Bluetooth SIG means it’ll have Bluetooth, of course. It’ll likely have a lot of other common smartphone components (otherwise it wouldn’t be a phone) but there are no concrete specs to be had yet. [Unwired View]

Best Buy Now Offering Verizon’s Samsung Gem

Remember this little fella? If you don’t, its name is the Samsung Gem We’ve seen it leaked in countless pictures before several regional carriers decided to carry it themselves, but the original carrier we learned of to be offering it – Verizon – hadn’t elected to say a word about it. They still haven’t, in fact. But that isn’t stopping Best Buy from offering it through their website for $30 with a two-year contract. One would almost think Verizon’s ashamed of this little gem (yes, intended), but I’m not one to know. Head over to Best Buy’s site and order it if you’re interested. [Thanks Joe!]
