AT&T LTE Coming To 12 New Markets Starting April 8
AT&T confirmed today that they will be flipping the LTE switch on twelve new markets starting on April 8. That will bring AT&T’s coverage to about 40 total markets across the U.S., which is still trailing far behind Verizon’s planned 400-market roll-out by the end of the year, but ahead of Sprint’s yet to be born LTE network.
Starting this Sunday, Bloomington and Muncie, Indiana, as well as Bryan-College Station, Texas, will light up first. Check out the full list after the break.

Besides the first three on the list, exact dates aren’t known for the rest, but AT&T does claim that LTE roll-outs will span through April, May and into the early summer. If your city is on this list, you should consider looking for a new LTE device to take advantage of the speeds. Luckily, AT&T has a good selection of LTE-capable devices to choose from, including the Samsung Galaxy Note, Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket, LG Nitro HD, HTC Vivid, Pantech Burst, and the soon-to-be-arriving HTC One X.
